This Speaker Series recording we join David Lantrip, MCPF, GCF as he delves into glass cutting by looking at the methods and tools used in the stained-glass industry.
If you dread the thought of cutting specialty shapes in glass this session will provide guidance by looking at the basic principles of scoring and breaking glass. The tools demonstrated will enable picture framers to cut ovals, fan shapes and camelback curves confidently, easily, and perfectly. These methods can then be applied to all types of glass used in picture framing, including UV filtering and optically coated varieties. After a little practice you will be able to cut odd shapes the first time every time.
